Dr. Ted Rothstein is our cosmetic and general dentist. During the last visit, we took our kids to him. They have been seeing him on an ongoing basis. I last went to him 2 weeks ago. I have been going to him for 3 years. He does braces for me.

I liked the fact that he was able to correct my edge to edge bite in just 4 months, when another orthodontist told me he would take at least 1 year. As an adult I wanted to done with it pretey quickly. The work on my daughter took longer but she was only 10 when she started and her teath were still developing. Overall, great job.

After calling a few dozen qualified orthodontists in the New York City area, my search was finally over when I found and called the office of Dr. Rothstein. Even prior to the actual course of treatment, his staff members were the most helpful out of all the dentists I had called in terms of explaining the costs, possible treatment plan(s), and method of payment. This was extremely important to me, as getting braces was a lifelong dream and a huge commitment. Any patient who cares about their treatment wants to receive answers to every little question or concern they may have, and Dr. Rothstein's staff, especially Brian, did just that--all with a friendly and warm attitude. Once the initial appointment was made, Dr. Rothstein provided me with a detailed diagnosis of my teeth structure as well as multiple possible courses of treatment. I was surprised when he told me that my teeth could be transformed in just as little as 12 months--nearly half as short of treatment length than any other dentist had offered. Understanding that my crooked, protruding teeth (I had "fangs" or "eye teeth") were a source of great self-consciousness for me, Dr. Rothstein helped me choose an innovative course of treatment that would help speed up the process in obtaining a great smile. I experienced almost no discomfort and received immediate attention whenever I broke a bracket or felt any pain from the wires. He also provides you with detailed pamphlets that clearly explain each process along the way. For the first time in my life, I am smiling! It has been such a positive and rewarding experience. Very satisfied with the results and would recommend to anyone who is looking for quality care.

From the very moment I made an appointment with Dr Ted, I already felt that he and his staff would provide me with the best orthodontic dental care in NYC. The first time I stepped into Dr. Ted's office, his staff greeted me like they would do so with old friends. The design & aura of the office was not one a person would expect of a regular bland dental office. It was of a professional yet homely and comfortable setting. When I finally met with Dr. Ted, it was like seeing an old pal. He examined my teeth, told me what he observed, told me what my next courses of action might be, then clearly showed me the different choices I had when it came to the treatments available. He helped me reach my decision by recommending the treatments that were the most convenient, practical and most decently priced as possible. I eventually chose the Smartclip braces and I haven't looked back since! My treatment took a little over a year with check-up/adjustment visits every 2-3 weeks. Dr. Ted & his staff were extremely helpful & patient throughout the duration of the treatment (Extremely patient because I kept breaking brackets!) When it came time for the braces to come off, Dr. Ted clearly explained what I had to do from then on & what to expect next. Already included into his fee, were regularly scheduled follow-up visits which proved to be very helpful in the coming months (I was a bit of a klutz as I kept losing my retainers.) Overall I had absolutely nothing less that an excellent experience with Dr. Ted & his crew. He has been putting smiles on the faces of adults and kids alike for more than 35 years and I am one of his latest masterpieces! My daughter got braces and Dr, Ted was very good helpful and her teeth have straighten out earlier than was expected. He caused barely any pain and if there was it we were told in advance. He explained everything that was being done. The staff is always kind and helpful. He is funny and kind. I would recommend him without reservations.

Overall it was a positive experience., He is a experience dentist who you can trust. He told us what to expect and he followed through informing us every step of the way.

Lingual and clear braces. Corrected overbite, straigtened lower teeth. Sculpted teeth after removal of braces to equalize size. Provided retainers and did tooth whitening. Wonderful service. Fun and upbeat office. Every step explained in detail - Dr. Rothstein returned calls immediately and came into the office on a Sunday for a bracket problem.

I am so satified with the results! The braces were not hard to get used to and the end result is fabulous. Dr. Rothstein and his staff were so personable. I was called the day after the braces were put on to see how I was doing and after each adjustment a staff member called to find out if there were any problems. I also liked the fact that there are many adult patients and enjoyed speaking with them upon occasion in the waiting room. All tips were followed as far as foods not to eat, which is very important. A fact sheet is provided to each patient (parent for youngsters) and is very easy to follow. This was as pleasant an experience as possible for an adult who had to wear braces.
