Dr. Ted Presents: Is your whatchamacallit worth a fortune
Dr. Ted Presents: Babette Cohen Senior Appraiser
Dr. Ted Presents: The Art and Science of Appraising
Dr. Ted Presents: How to get an Appraisal
Dr. Ted Presents: Appraising and Your Significant Other
Dr. Ted Presents: Etc, etc until you come up with a
catchy title
Typically the we film the show at the office on Sat morning about
9. Friday evening is also possible.
I can prepare questions I think up to ask and you can provide me
questions you would like me to ask you.
Remember it's being taped and consequently it will be edited to make
the "story" coherent. When something does not seem right we shoot
it over again to get it right. We literally quilt the tape together
so that upon completion it looks and sounds well from beginning to
end,
You are welcome to suggest some titles for the show Dr. Ted
Presents: _____________________
Perhaps you might want to bring some objects and go about showing
how they are described and valued. Think about it. Ted
June 27 is the last Sat in June. We
film Saturday morning at my office
Please mark this date in you calendar.
I will send you occasional reminders so that if some
unforeseen event stays you from coming you can let me know.
Love,Ted Thank you. It will be fun. Think of
how such show would go.

The
skull: Dire Beaucoup (DEARA BOKOO)
Re: Your appearance on Dr. Ted Presents: Babette
Cohen--Appraiser of ... Scheduled
for Saturday, June 27
Dear Babatte;
Here is another idea for the Dr.Ted Presents: Babette Cohen (An
appraiser's mind on the job).
Dire appears as a guest in spirit and as she remains at
present on all (almost all) the DTPs.
Her name in French means "tells much".
Judging from the wear of her teeth she was about 85 years old at
her demise.
I obtained her in dental school in 1962.
She must have been born around 1875.
When you see her close you can infer a lot about her face, jaws
and teeth.
Consider how interesting it might be as you think out loud
before the camera how you would go about placing a value on her
worth, i.e. the worth of her skull in its present condition.
You might also bring with you objects that look worthless, but
are really treasures, and objects that look like treasures that
are really worthless. Cordially, Ted
