The removable retainer device is resting upon the model it was made on.  It is shown with the double face-bow device inserted into the tubes soldered on to its frame.  The color  of the plastic is black, a preference of  KG the "patient"   It is neutral and therefore does not move teeth. KG designed the look of the metal parts .  The face bow may be removed and reinserted at will. The cloth headgear goes around the crown of the head. and white plastic with holes attaches to the loops as shown. It can be worn at the same time as the lower shown to the right.

The blue pad is another version and it attaches by the red white and blue elastic band.  The tension of the elastics around the  neck and therefore on the teeth can be increased at will. However, THESE DEVICES WERE  MADE SPECIAL TO PERMIT ATTACHMENT OF THE FACE BOW AND IT IS NOT KNOWN IF THEY ARE ABLE TO  BEAR ANY POSITIVE PRESSURE ON THEM LEST THEY BREAK ESPECIALLY AT THE SOLDER JOINT WHERE THE TUBE ATTACHES TO THE WIRE.
