This video documentary was produced by Ted Rothstein, DDS PhD, Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and Specialist in OJW for Weight control.  The objective is to demonstrate the essential steps that dental professionals should follow when providing this new service to patients presenting with compulsive overeating.  Dr. Rothstein provides an understanding of the rationale for dental professionals to provide this safe and effective non-invasive new service as part of the “healthcare team” to an ever-growing number of overweigh/obese persons many of whom are are suffering other serious health consequences as a result.
